An advertisement for Donard Dew Old Irish Whiskey which shows that Mooney Brothers, Castlewellen, Co. Down, Northern Ireland were the local stockists of this fine whiskey at that time – sometime around the early 1900’s.
This unique graphic artwork was created by William Strain & Sons, Belfast & London, a printing and publishing company, active in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. They became known for creating many such advertisements for distilleries at that time.
